Position Overview

The Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Ophthalmologist to add to its growing section of pediatric surgical specialists. Candidates will have abundant opportunities to research and grow alongside our team of trusted and talented group of ophthalmologists within the Lehigh Valley Institute for Surgical Excellence. The candidate must have subspecialty certification from the American Board of Ophthalmology in pediatric ophthalmology or be on a path to this certification.

Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital serves an area of 15 counties extending beyond the New York and New Jersey state borders with a population of about 2 million. Our children’s hospital includes a dedicated Children’s Emergency Room, PICU, NICU and Children’s Surgical Center with 4 ORs and 2 procedure rooms. Additionally, there are 30 fields of pediatric medical, radiologic, and surgical specialties on staff.

  • Exceptional earning potential
    • Salary between $475,000 and $550,000 plus a high-value incentive opportunity.
    • No compensation at risk based on wRVU productivity.
    • Up to $30,000 Forgivable Recruitment Loan.
    • Additional compensation support available for those who sign while in post-graduate training, equivalent to $2,500 per month while in training.

Qualifications

  • A network champion for Ophthalmology and a passion for the clinical work
  • Fellowship trained pediatric ophthalmologist
  • Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • A valid PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
