Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking an Board-Certified Transplant Hepatologist. The ideal candidate would possess exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills to join our team at the LVHN-Cedar Crest Campus in Allentown, PA.
The Liver Transplant Program at Lehigh Valley Health Network is a new extension of our existing Multiorgan Transplant Program. This program will include a dedicated liver cancer program and clinic, an NIH supported liver research center and a biorepository. Live donor liver transplantation will also be part of the program in short order. It has clinical research support and strong hospital support for marketing and outreach. Given these resources, this is a high-profile position within the medical center and nationally. The candidate would work in tandem with other transplant hepatologists in the network. The new medical director will also work very closely with Chief of Transplant Surgery and a group of exceptionally qualified surgeons and APC’s to support the transplant program.
