Position Overview

The occupational medicine professionals at Lehigh Valley Health Network provide an array of services such as physical exams, medical surveillance, drug and alcohol testing, Department of Transportation (DOT) services, injury prevention, X-rays, laboratory testing and more. In an occupational medicine career with LVHN, you will experience:

  • Perform work injury evaluation and treatment, DOT, surveillance, pre-placement physicals, and other specialty exams and fitness for duty evaluations
  • APC support is available
  • No holidays, or on-call responsibility

Qualifications

  • A network champion for Occupational Medicine and a passion for the clinical work
  • Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, or in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine with significant (5 - 7 years) occupational medicine experience.
  • Must possess DOT medical examiner certification and Medical Review Officer certification or obtain within the first 6 months of employment
  • A valid PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
